Recurring visits or a single one-time clean, each following a written room-by-room checklist. Your quote depends on your home and the extras you choose.
Each standard visit works from a fixed checklist, so you know the scope before anyone arrives. It covers the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas and floors.
Anything beyond the list is either an optional add-on or outside the service. Ask which when you request a quote, so the quote describes a clear scope.
Kitchen: counters, sink, stovetop, outside of appliances
Bathrooms: toilet, tub or shower, sink, mirror
Bedrooms and living areas: dusting and vacuuming
Floors: vacuum carpets, sweep and wash hard floors

Choose your option
Recurring, one-time or deep home cleaning?
The choice usually comes down to timing and condition. These are our own definitions of scope, not an industry standard, so two companies can use the same words for different work. Ask what is on the checklist before you compare quotes.
Recurring visits keep a home consistently clean
A one-time clean suits guests, a special occasion or a reset
A deep clean fits built-up grime or a long gap since the last visit

Number of bedrooms and bathrooms and the overall size of the home.

Frequency
How often you want cleaning.

How cleaners will get in: you, a key, a lockbox or a code.
Condos and apartments
Cleaning a condo or apartment in Ottawa
Every building sets its own rules. Some require elevator booking, concierge sign-in, a visitor parking pass or a fob, and others have none of these. Tell us which apply when you request a quote.
If you are unsure of your building’s rules, check with your property manager. Sorting access out before the first visit beats doing it on the day.
Does the building have a concierge or front desk?
Does the elevator need to be booked in advance?
Where can cleaners park, and does it cost anything?
How will we get in: you are home, a key, a lockbox or a code?

Mould is the clearest exclusion. Health Canada says a qualified professional should assess large mould areas, and that mould which keeps returning usually means the moisture source is still there. See its guidance on addressing moisture and mould in your home. Need one of the other excluded jobs? Say so in your quote request.
Tell us in your quote request if you have preferences or anything we should avoid, such as a product that bothers someone in the home. We will confirm what is needed for your visit as part of the quote.
Clear surfaces and floors of personal items and put away anything fragile. When you request your quote, mention pets, any areas to skip and any rooms that need extra attention.
No. It is not part of a standard clean. For small washable surfaces, Health Canada says not to use bleach and to use an unscented soap solution instead, as set out in its guidance on moisture and mould.
Clean first. The CDC says cleaning removes most germs and that disinfecting is likely not needed unless someone in your home is sick. It also advises cleaning high-touch surfaces such as light switches, doorknobs and countertops regularly and after visitors, in its guidance on cleaning and disinfecting your home.
It depends on the size and condition of the home, and on the extras you choose. Send your details with your quote request and we will tell you what to expect for your home.
Yes, condos and apartments are part of our House Cleaning service. Building rules such as elevator booking and access vary, so share them when you request a quote and we will plan the visit around them.
